1. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies and browser storage can remember preferences and keep a service secure. You can use our public website and send an enquiry without allowing optional activity tracking.
2. Essential technologies
We use technologies required for authentication, security, fraud prevention, payment hand-off, consent records and user-requested preferences. The optional activity control does not switch off these necessary functions. Authentication and payment providers explain their own essential technologies in their notices.
What stays on your device
Clerk provides sign-in cookies and session controls. Stripe may set security and payment cookies when you open checkout. Their lifetimes depend on the selected session and provider settings. Your chosen theme and accessibility preferences may remain in browser storage until you change them or clear that storage. Web conversation caching is account-specific and held in memory, not a permanent local-storage copy of private messages. Signing out clears the active account cache.

3. Optional website activity
Both choices start switched off:
- Website measurement: lets MyElitePT count public-page visits and top-shop actions such as customising a top, opening the size guide, signing in and starting checkout, including whether checkout opens or shows an error. This helps us improve the shop. Administrators may receive grouped visit alerts.
- PT link alerts: lets the PT whose profile or QR link you open receive a grouped notification that their link was opened. The notification does not include your name or contact details and is not treated as an enquiry.
We use a random, short-lived browser identifier to group repeat visits, not a device or network fingerprint. We do not put enquiry answers, health information, payment details, full query strings or private app activity into this measurement. A link may be shared as well as scanned.
MyElitePT operates this feature using Vercel hosting and Upstash storage. Apple delivers app push alerts. Our service-provider list explains these providers. We do not use this feature for third-party advertising.
4. Storage and retention
Your choice is stored in myelitept.website-activity-choice.v1 for up to 180 days. If you allow either option, myelitept.website-activity-session.v1 holds a random identifier in session storage for a 30-minute session. Server-side repeat-open and shop-action identifiers expire after 30 minutes; daily page and action totals expire after 30 days. Notification messages remain in the recipient’s account history under our Privacy Policy. Security, payment and order records are separate from this optional measurement. We report order totals separately and do not link them to the optional browser identifier.
5. Change your mind
Use Cookie settings in the website footer or below to change either option. Declining stops future collection for that option; it does not undo an alert already delivered or anonymous totals already counted. You can also clear browser storage. Blocking essential technologies may affect sign-in or payments.
